Role: WPF/C# Developer
Location: Whitstable, Kent, United Kingdom
Contract: Full time, Permanent.
We are looking to recruit an WPF/C# Developer to support the team and the growing client base. The position is full time and based in our head office in Whitstable, Kent.

Financial and Management Information Systems Ltd (FMIS) develops and supplies specialist software and IT consultancy. Our global client base looks to us to provide a range of solutions, including a class-leading Fixed Asset Management suite. Our product range is under continual development and expansion. Using the latest in Microsoft technologies we have recently implemented a selection of exciting new modules whilst continuing to enhance our Java-based offerings.
The Position
WPF/C# Developer including technical IT Support
(If the applicant is still studying we could look to part time until studies have completed)
Responsibilities
- Development of WPF Front end and C# back end programs
- Maintenance of existing WPF/C# programs
- Installation, setup and upgrade of FMIS software for new and existing clients
- Technical support and troubleshooting of both client sites and internal systems
- Liaising with clients and possible travel to client sites
- Technical testing of our developed in-house software
- Assisting consultants with data conversions and manipulating data
- Writing of scripts to correct/import data
Essential skills
- C# / WPF
- SQL/Microsoft SQL Server
- Stored Procedures
- Excellent IT skills and a quick learner
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (client and server)
- The ability to troubleshoot computer systems, hardware and software
- Good client communication skills and telephone manner
Desirable skills
- Computer Science or similar degree
- Knowledge of configuring Microsoft SQL Server and/or Microsoft IIS
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Salary Range
Dependent on ability and experience. Excellent potential for the right candidate.
