FMIS Fixed Assets and IFRS 16 Lease Accounting software are now available through the G-Cloud procurement framework. FMIS’ addition to the G-Cloud framework offers an additional route for procurement teams using the framework to effectively manage their cloud software contracts.
G-Cloud 13 went live on 9 November 2022 and is the latest version of the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) framework offering cloud software, hosting and support to public sector IT buyers. The framework is designed to provide a digital marketplace for public sector procurement teams wanting a quick and easy way to source off-the-shelf cloud software with access to over 40,000 services and over 5,000 suppliers. G-Cloud is available to both local and central government, charities, education, emergency services (health, police, fire, ambulance, search and rescue), devolved administrations as well as British overseas territories.
Every G-Cloud supplier is pre-approved and has accepted the framework agreements before being accepted for the digital marketplace. Call-off contracts purchased through G-Cloud can run up to 36 months for cloud software with the option to extend this for further periods if required. When considering asset management, it’s essential to weigh the pros and cons of cloud vs on-premise solutions, as each offers unique benefits and challenges depending on your organisation’s needs.
FMIS has been providing Fixed Asset Accounting, Tracking and Maintenance Software in the UK for over 35 years, as well as IFRS-16 compliant Lease Accounting Software. The company’s software is used extensively throughout the public sector, including the NHS, local and central government, education and not-for-profit organisations.
