ISO 9001 Certification

FMIS receives certification for internationally recognised Quality Management Systems standard.

FMIS certified for ISO 9001:2015 standard

FMIS has been awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification. This is the latest version of the ISO 9001 family of standards for Quality Management Systems (QMS). The standard establishes an effective quality management program for companies and helps them consistently meet the needs of clients and other key stakeholders.

FMIS Lead Designer, Mike Clements explains “FMIS has always had a strong commitment to delivering quality across the business from project planning and delivery to the internal systems and processes that support our company. Achieving certification for the ISO 9001 standard has not really changed this emphasis on quality, but has been helpful in identifying ways that we can apply this commitment more effectively. Perhaps just as importantly, it provides our clients with external evidence of this commitment.”

ISO 9001 is based around a set of Quality Principles including:

  • Customer focus
  • Leadership
  • Engagement of people
  • Process approach
  • Continual improvement
  • Evidence-based decision making
  • Relationship management

Internationally recognised

FMIS software is deployed in over 40 countries worldwide, making the ISO accreditation a logical choice for the business. ISO 9001 is probably the best recognised Quality Management Systems certification available internationally. “It is important that we can point to a universal standard of quality when working with new clients”, says Mike Clements. “With the number of solutions available from all over the world, clients want proof that their chosen partner can deliver the systems they require to the standard they require. ISO certification helps FMIS to demonstrate that.”
