Clever keynotes and a new iPad make Access events a winner

The recent Access Group Not For Profit and Supply Chain conferences may have been separated by a week and a trip up the M1, but both proved to be a great success for Access Group clients and partners. Martin Randall, Financial Controller at Oil Spill Response would have been happier than most however, as he walked away with a brand new iPad Air in our prize draw after dropping by the FMIS stand.

The Not For Profit event in London was attended by nearly 300 Access Group clients from charities and organisations such as the Science Museum from where the Queen recently sent her first tweet. Continuing the Twitter theme, Jane Young of @reasonanceblog delivered the keynote address on the growing importance of social media in the Not For Profit sector.

In Coventry a week later, the Ricoh Arena played host to the Supply Chain conference. This time the world’s first ever Full Professor and Chair of Supply Chain Risk Management, Richard Wilding OBE was the highlight of the day as he spoke about the 8 T’s of Highly Effective Supply Chains and how they are growing increasingly important in the competitive manufacturing and distribution landscape.
