Chorus gains Asset Intelligence
from FMIS .
- Chorus & FMIS sign partnership agreement
- Asset Intelligence ‘only solution’ for
all platforms
- Asset Intelligence provides ‘flawless integration’
Leading iSeries, client/server and Web based financial
systems software supplier Chorus has selected FMIS as
a strategic partner to provide best-of-breed asset and
capital management solutions to their 400 + cutomers.
FMIS’s product, Asset Intelligence, was selected
after a rigorous programme in which Chorus examined
both the product and the company in detail.
Announcing the agreement, Chorus Sales Manager, Mark
Ferguson praised the professionalism of FMIS staff and
the superiority of the Asset Intelligence product suite.
“We had 4 main criteria. Ease of use, functionality,
integration with our products and the ability to support
our clients on any platform. FMIS and Asset Intelligence
won easily in every category. The availability of Asset
Intelligence on all the platforms we support was a key
factor in our decision as no other leading vendor was
able to offer the same system across all platforms.
“Just as important, however, was the expertise
and professionalism of FMIS staff. We are absolutely
confident that, whatever requirements our customers
have in this area, FMIS will be able to deliver what
they want”.
Another key reason for selecting FMIS/Asset Intelligence
was the sophisticated asset tracking and bar coding
features the system offers.
“We see this as a major area of interest for
our customers. Larger companies are now addressing asset
tracking in earnest and this partnership gives us a
clear advantage. Virtually no major financial accounting
systems vendors are able to offer effective asset tracking.
Asset Intelligence puts us in the driving seat on this
important new focus.
Welcoming the new partnership agreement Martin Hakes,
Managing Director of FMIS, commented “iSeries
is currently undergoing a surge in popularity for Financial
Systems applications and we are thrilled to be selected
by the UK’s leading provider of Financial Accounting
systems on iSeries. It’s a vindication of our
strategy of offering Asset Intelligence on the widest
possible range of platforms.”
