Bulk or Individual
Stock can be held in bulk or as individual items tracked by serial number. A BOM structure can be held at many different levels of linked items. For each type of equipment or part you can define your own set of fields to be used during the life of the item.

Additions
Items are added to the system via the receipt process, or through an initial conversion. Components can also be pulled through links to Microsoft's SCCM tool. Any network discovery tool can be linked to the Equipment and Inventory module.

Allocations/Loans
Stock can be allocated through sales orders, purchase orders, or through direct assignment of items or part batches to individual users or projects. Full equipment utilisation can also be maintained with posting through to your job costing system.

Transmittals
Bulk shipment to customers, vendors, or internal locations can be handled on a non-confirming or full confirming basis. You can create utilisation or tracking locations at any level and book the equipment stock in and out of that location. A full audit trail is maintained.

Repairs, Returns, Disposal
Any changes in the status or constitution of the batch or individual item can be tracked and there is full support for a return to vendor process. Work orders can be used to support these processes.
